It has already been over half a year since The Great East Japan Earthquake on 3.11. Most of the evacuees in the shelters have moved on: They either moved into temporary houses or found new homes.

However, their fundamental issues have not been resolved, rather it seems that the issues have been getting swept under the carpet. Lately, domestic violence, drinking, and suicide are, though unofficially, reported in increasing numbers. Although the children seemed to have started to adjust at one point, the number of those who have begun emotionally instable has risen since the summer break. Emotional care for them is rather going to be a serious issue that we need to tackle from now on.

What they fear most is “being forgotten”.
